"Charles D. Washam, 63,
of Lovedale died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. Born in
Rector, Ark., Mr. Washam served in the Army and the Navy. He had lived here for
more than 28 years. Mr. Washam worked for state of Florida at Sunland Center and
was a member of the Lovedale Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Janell
Washam; one son, David Eric Washam and wife Stephanie of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; one
daughter, Robin D. Campbell and husband Andrew of Fillmore, Ind.; two brothers,
Randy Jones of Oklahoma and Butch Jones of Ohio; two sisters, Maggie Beatty of
Arkansas and Thelma Mitchell of Texas; and seven grandchildren. The funeral
service will be Saturday, Sept. 5, 10 a.m. at the Lovedale Baptist Church, the
Rev. Eric Durham officiating, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing."

ED 144, Sheet 22A, Family 416. He is age 67, 2nd marriage - 22 yrs, b, TN,
father, no occupation, survivor of the Confederate Army. Sallie is age 64,
mother of 1 child - not living. Because the census was dated 7 May 1910 and
was to list persons living as of 15 Apr, his date of death of 10 Apr may be
incorrect and the date of 27 Apr is the correct one.
