Dennis and Mabel had 3 children: Alta,
Marvin Dennis/Dennis Marvin and Henry
Marvin married a woman named
Ann/Anne/Anna for a very short time. They had a daughter named Kathleen
who moved to TN with her mother Ann when she was 3 years old. There are
many newspaper articles about Mabel visiting her granddaughter Kathleen in
TN in the Pinedale roundup.
We're trying to locate Kathleen. We
understand she didn't actually meet her father until she was 19 and
visited California where he lived. Most likely she was visiting Mabel who
lived in Mill Valley CA at that time.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Joel Washam b abt 1825 TN & m Catherine b abt 1827 MO.
Washham lived near David Washham in the 1850 Holt Co, MO census. Joel Washam may not be a son of Joseph Worsham & Nancy McNew
because Joel was b in TN according to the 1850 census and there is no evidence
that Joseph lived in TN only in Washington Co., VA. In the settlement of
Joseph's estate and when his land was sold in 1859, 1860 & 1868, it
mentioned that there was 9 heirs of which all 9 have been accounted for. But,
because Joel was not listed in the 1860 census and his son, William was living
with David Washam (his probable uncle), it could be that Joel died before the
settlement of Joseph's estate and was not listed as an heir.

"The family group is their daughter, my Great grandmother, Alamanda Catherine [Worsham] Ferguson with her husband, John Campbell Ferguson, he has the long white beard. Seated to his left is their oldest daughter, my Grandmother, Mary Margrette [Ferguson] Richards. Standing behind, starting left to right are: Ella Rebecca [Ferguson] Walker. I think the man may be Herbert Ferguson, not sure. Alyda Ora [Ferguson] Vaughn, the next man may be William Franklin Ferguson, not sure. The white haired man may be Abner Walker Ferguson, not sure. and Janie Catherine [Ferguson] Morrison. I do know that James Harvey Ferguson was not in this picture, nor was Leta Mae Ferguson, she died years before. The elderly lady in that beautiful old chair is, Rebecca [Meadows] Worsham, my Great Great Grandmother."

purchased a very old photo album at an antique store in Bristol, VA. The only
photos with names say "Dad's brother Uncle Jim Worsham" and
"Myra Worsham". There is also a picture of a tombstone that says
"Thelma M, daughter of WJ & Myra Worsham 1902-1919". Jennifer
would love to get them back to the family. (email
